Welcome to HomeTab ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application collects, uses, and safeguards your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:

Personal Information: Name, Email address, and Profile picture (via Google Sign-In) to create your user account.
Household Data: Information you enter about your staff (Maids), salary payments, loans, and attendance.
Device Information: Device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and debugging.

3. Usage of Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, and improve the HomeTab application.
To process salary calculations and manage household records.
To sync your data across devices securely using Google Cloud Firestore.
To facilitate UPI payments by launching third-party payment apps (we do not process payments directly).

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your information is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform servers. We use encryption for data in transit and at rest.

5. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services such as:

Google Firebase: For authentication, database, and analytics.
UPI Apps (Google Pay, Paytm, etc.): We interact with these apps only to initiate payment intents. We do not access your banking credentials or transaction history.

6. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data. You can initiate this request directly within the HomeTab app (Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing us at support@hometab.in.

Once requested, we will permanently remove your data from our servers within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.
